Admissions Procedures

Students should apply for admissions as soon as possible in order to be officially accepted for a specific program and starting date. To apply, students should complete the Application Form and send it to the school or call for a priority appointment to visit the school and receive a tour of its facilities.

All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an admissions representative. Parents and spouses are encouraged to attend. This gives applicants and their families an opportunity to see the school's equipment and facilities and to ask questions relating to the institute curriculum and career objectives. Personal interviews also enable school administrators to determine whether an applicant is acceptable for enrollment into the program.

All applicants must be beyond the age of compulsory education (16) and be a High School graduate or have the equivalency (G.E.D.). If the applicant has not completed either of the above mentioned requirements, they must complete the ATB (Ability to Benefit Exam) administered by the institute. The result of the entrance test will determine the applicant's ability to benefit from the offered programs. The entrance test is designed to evaluate those traits and aptitudes required for a successful career in Cosmetology, Massage, Permanent Make-up, Nail Technology, Skin Care or Full Specialty.

Students who have previously attended the Institute will be subject to the same requirements and procedures as new applicants. A non-refundable $100.00 Registration ($75.00) and Enrollment Fee ($25.00) is required at the time of formal enrollment. Once an applicant has completed and submitted the Application and Enrollment Agreement, the school reviews the information and informs the applicant of its decision. If an applicant is not accepted, all fees paid to the school are refunded except for $75.00 registration fee which is non-refundable.
